Be You! The Power of Self-Love
This workshop will be a safe environment for teens to learn about and discuss self-confidence and self-love. We will look at different ways to practice healthy self-love and self-care, as well as introducing self-awareness and mindfulness. This session will also give teens some tools to help them build their self-confidence. It is sure to be an evening full of knowledge exchange and building each other up!
Your host: Jenna Campbell has a bilingual bachelor’s degree in Criminology and working towards post-graduate certificate in mental health and addictions. She is self-identified Métis from Northern Ontario but now resides in the Ottawa area. Prior to joining the MNO, Jenna facilitated multiple self-confidence and self-love workshops for youth at the Elizabeth Fry Society as well as provided counselling to youth/teens at risk of being in conflict with the law. Currently, she thoroughly enjoys her position at the Métis Nation of Ontario, working to help improve the lives of youth in terms of mental health and addictions.
